Mike Thews came aboard with The John Roberts Company in 1980 as Controller. Mike is the former Chairman of the Printing Industry Financial Executives, a section of the Printing Industries of America, as well as past Chairman of the Controllers and Financial Officers Committee of the Printing Industry of Minnesota.

Mike's national stature within the printing industry has helped The John Roberts Company gain widespread respect as a solid and formidable player in one of the most volatile and competitive of industries. His financial expertise and insight make him a valued and respected member of John Roberts' executive management team.

A graduate of Concordia College in Moorhead, Mike is a Certified Public Accountant, and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants. His knowledge of finance and business are in demand in the community as well; Mike has chaired the Business Management Committee and was Treasurer for Faith Lutheran Church in Coon Rapids, Minnesota. He also served on the Board of Directors of the Metro North Chamber of Commerce.

Mike and his wife Brenda have two sons. As a family, they enjoy travel, fishing, golf, basketball, and music.
