Respecting the Environment – An Ongoing Initiative at JR

At John Roberts, our favorite color is green for one important reason: It represents our corporate commitment to environmental stewardship. Green is far from a fad here; our Environmental Policy, established in the late 1980s, continues to express our values of stewardship and responsibility to the earth and its atmosphere:

JR Environmental Policy

• The John Roberts Company is committed to managing all of its operations in an environmentally sound manner.
• We involve our employees, our suppliers and our customers in the principle that to conduct business at the expense of the environment around us is simply unacceptable.
• Through awareness, understanding, education, and action we are minimizing our intrusion on the environment.

In the spirit of this policy, we continually find new ways to manage our operations in an environmentally sound manner. In 2006, we undertook two major environmental initiatives: FSC Chain-of-custody certification and participation in Windsource renewable energy.
