Our most versatile technology in this category is our HP Indigo 10000 digital press. This press has a 20” x 29” image area, it can print from one to seven colors (including true PMS inks and opaque white ink), and can print on synthetic substrates, to normal text & cover stock, to 18-point board.
For smaller full color digital projects we also have a five-color Kodak Nexpress 2500 (image area 13” x 19.75”) and a four-color Canon C700 with in-line booklet maker (image area 12” x 18”).
Laser printing is an electrostatic digital printing process that can produce high-quality text and graphics by using a laser to draw an image on a printing drum which attracts toner which then fuses the image to the substrage with heat and pressure. Laser imprinting is a great choice for monochrome jobs with high volume requirements. Our laser printers are capable of imprinting over heavy ink coverage without adhesion issues. We are also equipped to print using MICR (magnetic ink character recognition) toner that enables technology used to verify the legitimacy or originality of paper documents, especially checks.
Inkjet printing is a printing process that creates a digital image by propelling droplets of ink onto paper, plastic or other substrates. We provide various types of inkjet technologies that use a variety of ink formulations (solvent based, water based, UV based) to achieve different imaging requirements. This broad array of technologies allows us to choose the appropriate type of inkjet device based on your project requirements.
With the ability to link multiple inkjet systems together to increase the area or number of locations to be inkjet personalized on a piece. We can inkjet in multiple directions and on both sides of a piece. We can utilize inkjet systems in-line on presses, folders, stitchers, and inserters to maximize production efficiency. Utilizing camera control systems enables us to ensure multiple piece matching and to account for 100% of pieces for projects that require these services.
