ISO 9000 Certification Means Quality Printing for Customers of The John Roberts Company
Everyone
at The John Roberts Company has been committed to producing
quality printing for our customers since the company was
founded
in 1951. In 1990 we made a leap forward in how quality is
achieved by implementing a "Total Quality Management" program.
ISO 9000 Certification
To make a good quality management system even better, The John Roberts Company decided to pursue ISO 9000 certification. ISO certification requires that a company have well-documented, standardized procedures in place for maintaining and continually improving the quality of products and services.
The John Roberts Company achieved ISO 9001 certification in February 1999 and since then we have seen many quality improvements with benefits for customers:
- Processes for achieving consistent premium print quality through monitoring and control have been developed, documented and implemented. In-line quality monitoring systems are used throughout production. Methods such as continuity pulls, use of densitometers, etc., allow our customers to consistently receive the highest quality printed materials.
- ISO certification has helped The John Roberts Company develop a thorough training system for employees whose work activities affect the quality of the product.
- The John Roberts Company has implemented a closed loop system to monitor our quality system. Our internal audit system has been recognized as one of the best that our ISO registrar has ever seen.
The John Roberts Company has always been dedicated to improving the quality of
our print work for customers. ISO 9000 certification is recognition that we are
able to meet the highest international standards for quality. Our commitment
to continual improvement means we are always improving our efficiency so we can
provide quality work at a competitive price.
