Ed Nelson joined to The John Roberts Company fresh out of high school in 2005. Having a father who was a printer, Ed “always thought JR was part of my family growing up.” He quickly worked through the ranks in the pressroom to the position of operator. He also became interested in a long-term Account Executive position. Ed understood that a good way to become familiar with the sales process was to start in estimating. After three years in estimating and having gained valuable knowledge in virtually all aspects of the print process, Ed joined our sales team in 2017.
Ed takes great pride in making sure his customers receive exactly what they envision. He is most satisfied when he helps customers create a piece with impact. With Ed’s experience running equipment first hand, he is a great resource and enjoys being leaned on for his expertise. When it comes to determining what is the most reasonable and efficient way to run a piece, Ed knows.
In his off time, Ed enjoys spending time with his wife Jessica and daughter.
