Job Description

As a Die Cutter Operator, you will set up and operate die cutting machines to cut, score, and perforate materials. You’ll ensure high-quality production, meet job specifications, and maintain production standards.

Essential Duties

Individuals must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Set up and operate die-cutting machines, including Bobst and Brausse.
• Adjust dies, guides, fingers, gauge pins, and grippers for die cutting.
• Run proof samples and secure supervisor's approval for production runs.
• Measure and compare parts with standards to verify conformance to specifications.
• Run machine, adjust speed, feeder, and delivery as necessary.
• Perform routine maintenance on press and feeder, including lubrication and minor repairs.
• Communicate with the Departmental Manager about inventory and schedule concerns.
• Ensure quality control and meet production schedules.
• Maintain safety standards and cleanliness of work area and equipment.
  
  

Job Requirements

• 3–5 years of die cutting experience in a print shop.
• Attention to detail and precision.
• Ability to read job and comprehend job tickets.
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Safe and effective use of hand tools and machines.
• Accurate measurement and processing of materials.
• Quality assurance of finished products.

Pay Range: $25-30/hour + sign on bonus
