Maintenance Technician

Available Hours: First Shift Pay Starting At: $35+
Job Description
The Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the facilities and printing equipment operate proficiently and smoothly. Responsibilities include upgrading, maintaining, and installing equipment, manufacturing production parts, managing parts inventory, and adhering to preventative maintenance schedules. Additionally, you'll be tasked with repairing and maintaining the operating condition of industrial production machinery and equipment.

- Complete tasks outlined in written work orders.
- Coordinate and oversee preventative maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate equipment installation.
- Assist in fabricating or modifying equipment and tools.
- Inspect machines and tools for safety and compliance.
- Propose and implement new methods to enhance operations and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with relevant personnel on equipment needs and modifications.
- Procure necessary tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Consult with management and relevant teams to resolve maintenance issues and improve operations.
- Maintain adherence to safety protocols and ensure a hazard-free work environment.
Job Requirements
- Use hand tools or machines needed to perform operations appropriately and safely.
- Read and comprehend blueprints and schematics of items to be installed or repaired.
- Read and follow directions on work orders accurately.
- Complete maintenance work on machinery with great precision and accuracy.
- Use arithmetic or shop geometry to make accurate adjustments and measurements of equipment.
