Every year Gold Ink receives thousands of entries from printers around the world who are looking to be recognized for the most pretigious printed pieces. We are proud to announce that John Roberts has been awarded with a Gold Ink Award on a Wells Fargo dimensional mail brochure. The brochure was catagorized under commercial printing and winning the Gold award for Dimensional Printing.
The main component of this winning entry is like a pocket folder with some extra ordinary panels. Inside on the right panel, a stack of homes is connected to a slider on top. When the slider is pulled up, the homes flip forward from the stack, each with a unique message showcasing what Wells Fargo can do for potential clients. A saddle-stiched brochure is inserted into the left inner panel pocket that addresses questions related to financing a home with a jumbo loan. The pocket on the left also has a business card holder.
This project ran 4 color process + 2 PMS colors (red and gold) + satin aqueous coating on our 6 color Heidelberg UV press. The components were diecut through various finishing processes including diecutting, folding and gluing. The mailer completed insertion and assembly in our hand bindery.
The pop-up polygon was hand inserted into a 9.5 x 9.5 converted envelope that printed black + 2 PMS colors (red and gold).
