Account Manager

As a leader in the print industry, John Roberts is looking for qualified and talented individuals to grow our highly recognized, award-winning team.  We are currently looking for an experienced Account Manager to join us.

Job Description

The Account Manager serves as the main connection between our clients and our production teams, guiding projects from the moment they’re sold through to final delivery. This role is critical in maintaining client satisfaction, ensuring jobs run smoothly, and upholding John Roberts’ reputation for quality and service. A key part of the role includes supporting direct mail campaigns, helping clients navigate postal requirements, data needs, and campaign timelines.

Essential Duties

  • Act as the primary contact for clients, delivering timely updates and solutions.
  • Build and strengthen customer relationships, including new client onboarding.
  • Review and create accurate job tickets, ensuring project details are clear and complete.
  • Monitor the status of projects daily, keeping both clients and internal teams informed.
  • Review proofs and data files with clients, moving approved work into production.
  • Partner with Data Processing, Mailing, and Fulfillment teams to ensure mailing campaigns are accurate, compliant, and on schedule.
  • Provide guidance on best strategies for print and direct mail to achieve client goals.
  • Ensure quality standards are met, with authority to pause or rerun jobs when necessary.

Job Requirements

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with print and direct mail processes (USPS requirements a plus).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP/CRM experience preferred.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Adaptability in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments

 

   Pay Range: $70,000-$85,000 *Based on experience*
