Job Description

The Envelope Operator is responsible for setting up, adjusting, operating, and maintaining the envelope machine. This role includes preparing materials, monitoring production, inspecting quality, and ensuring each job meets customer specifications. 

Essential Duties

Individuals must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Set up, adjust, and operate the Envelope Converter machine for various envelope sizes and specifications.
• Review job tickets, stage materials, and prepare products before starting each run.
• Operate and troubleshoot the machine to ensure smooth, efficient production.
• Inspect finished envelopes for folds, color, glue placement, and window alignment.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures and perform continuity pulls during production.
• Hang printing, die, and embossing plates; prepare clear film and ink; adjust glue heads and folding guides.
• Monitor product quality and promptly address issues or inconsistencies.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and maintain a clean, hazard-free work area.

Job Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience operating envelope converter machines.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

   Pay Starting At:: $23/hr+
