Job Description

The General Maintenance role supports the ongoing maintenance efforts for a smooth and clean operation throughout the facility. Performs variety of skilled duties in a building trade, such as painting, carpentry, minor electrical, and minor repairing of the building.  This position contributes to the overall cleanliness, safety, and efficiency of the plant. This is a hands-on role ideal for a mechanically inclined individual eager to learn, problem-solve, and grow within the company.

Essential Duties

Individuals must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, light carpentry, drywall patching, and basic plumbing or electrical repairs.
• Set up and break down office and event infrastructure (e.g., moving furniture, staging, assemble cubicles, signage).
• Operate floor scrubber machine and ensure work areas are clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Assist with troubleshooting and repairing equipment to minimize production downtime.
• Support the Baler Operator in equipment inspections, material handling, and operational efficiency.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests or breakdowns.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and building protocols.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience in a maintenance or general maintenance role.
• Working knowledge of tools, hardware, and facility systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.).
• Ability to lift 40 lbs and perform physical labor as needed.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Must be a self-starter with a diligent and proactive approach to responsibilities.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift moderately heavy objects for extended periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–3 years of experience in general maintenance
• Willingness to learn new systems and procedures.
• Dependable, honest, and safety focused.
  
  

Pay Range: $20-22
