Job Description
The John Roberts Company is seeking to add a Vice President of Operations to their Commercial Printing organization. The Vice President of Operations will be responsible for overseeing all operational functions and ensuring that the company runs smoothly and efficiently. As a leader in our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving growth and success.
The candidate must demonstrate the following key responsibilities to be considered.
- Strong leadership and strategic planning skills.
- Extensive experience in successful manufacturing leadership roles.
- Data driven decision making.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Essential Duties
- Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the overall goals of the organization.
- Identifies inefficiencies, implements new processes, and streamlines operations to boost productivity and control cost.
- Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and fiscal accountability to meet revenue targets and manage operational expenses effectively.
- Oversee daily operations and ensure that processes are running smoothly.
- Coordinate the development of key performance goals for functions and direct reports
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Collaborate with other departments for seamless coordination.
- Establish and maintain quality control measures, meeting industry and customer standards.
- Foster a culture of improvement by implementing lean principles for streamlined processes.
- Implement new technologies for enhanced capabilities.
- Build and maintain trusting relationships with customers, clients, partners and stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Business Operations, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in successful manufacturing leadership roles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills using data analysis.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and achieve operational targets.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and compliance.
- Visionary mindset for innovative solutions.
